Mezanmi was created with health and strength in mind when my 11-year-old daughter expressed the strong desire to transition her 4C hair from a five-year Sisterlock journey. I immediately went into action exploring premium hair care products to maintain the health and strength of her natural tresses. While researching a forever product that was all natural, lightly weighted and provided a long-lasting sheen, I ran into some challenges. Therefore, I utilized my science background as a Registered Nurse and began experimenting with wholesome hair enhancing ingredients. My ultimate goal was to create a product that would promote healthy hair without unwanted chemicals. With use of only natural oils and plants known to help hair hydration and after multiple trials and errors, the perfect clean and green hair butter blend was created in 2020.
